5 Ways To Prep for A Visit To The Fall Atlanta Home Show
The upcoming fall edition of the Atlanta Home Show, running September 5-7 at the Cobb Galleria, features celebrity guests Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt from HGTV’s popular “100 Day Dream Home”, but there’s so much more to see and do.

The popular consumer event spans three days packed with ideas, education and is a one-stop shop showcase for the latest trends, innovative products, and expert services to help attendees transform their living spaces.
To help guests plan their visit, here’s are five things ways to prep:
1. Research the Show Specials. For guests with a specific project in mind, here’s a big tip: many home show vendors offer their deepest discounts of the year at the show. Make sure you review the show specials here: Show Specials | Atlanta Home Show.
2. Save on Admission. The Atlanta Home Show offers many ways to save – even on admission. Seniors aged 65 and over? Free, daily. Active military, personnel, veterans, police, fire and first responders? Free daily, to honor them for their service. On Friday, September 5 it’s Trade Day. All home-related tradespeople and members of these organizations: NARI, Realtors, HBA, NKBA, NADRA, GaREIA, AIA, NAIPC, Atlanta Area Chapter Appraisal Institute, and ASID receive complimentary admission on Friday. And on Sunday, it’s Teacher’s Day – all educators receive free admission. *Please note, valid ID required for all special admission tickets

3. Raise the Roof. It’s one of the biggest (and priciest) home improvements homeowners can face: replacing or updating your roof. Did you know there’s an entire museum dedicated to roofs? Yep, The Roof Museum (the #19 museum in Atlanta, according to Trip Advisor). The nonprofit is devoted to bringing more Georgians into much-needed roofing positions by providing information on training as well as real-life advice for consumers. At the show, they’ll be handing out hard hats to the kids.
4. Play Time. Speaking of kids, a visit to the home show offers family-friendly entertainment including the Family Fun Zone featuring interactive games and obstacle course; Make Your Own Terrarium and more.
5. Go Green. If you go to Chat GPT and Google to ask questions about your grass or azalea bush, you can get specific advice for Atlanta lawns and gardens when you Ask A Master Gardener. Their booth is staffed with University of Georgia’s best horticulturists in real life who can you real ideas to take home and try in your landscaping.
