The mission of the Anna L. Haas Humane Society of Cobb County is to promote humane welfare and responsible animal guardianship through educational community outreach, shelter, and spay/neuter programs.

Who We Are and What We Do
The Humane Society of Cobb County is an independent, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) no-kill shelter and charitable humane animal welfare organization. We are not affiliated with Cobb County government, or any other local or national humane society or animal welfare organization, and we are funded primarily from donations.

Our volunteer-based, no-kill shelter provides assistance to animals and pet owners in Cobb County and surrounding areas. There are approximately 100 cats and a few dogs under our care at any given time, most of whom are available for adoption. We educate about humane and responsible animal guardianship through programs and community outreach and offer various resources to those in need. With the assistance of dedicated volunteers and generous supporters, our programs continue to make a positive difference in the lives of animals.
